Aswan University

The Aswan University branch was established in 1974 as a branch of Assiut University, and in 1995 the President of the Republic issued a decision to establish South Valley University, and accordingly, the university branch became affiliated with South Valley University. Other colleges were established, namely (Arts - Social Work - and Engineering). In 2012, Aswan University was established as a governmental university upon the issuance of Republican Decree No. 311 of 2012. The university includes 18 colleges.
