The Faculty of Education is the oldest educational institution in the branch of Alexandria University in Damanhour. It was opened in 1979/1980 to serve the people of Beheira Governorate. Then Republican Decree No. 507 of 1988 was issued to establish a branch of Alexandria University in Damanhour, and the Faculty of Education was among the forefront of faculties in addition to the faculties of Arts, Agriculture and Commerce. The Faculty of Education in Damanhour seeks to achieve quality and obtain academic accreditation to occupy a distinguished position among the faculties of education at the national and international levels. The Faculty of Education at Damanhour University also seeks to prepare qualified teachers and cadres capable of developing educational and administrative systems in general and technical education, and researchers who are able to develop educational knowledge and employ it in solving educational and educational problems, train all educational staff and leaders and provide specialized educational services and consultations to serve the university and the community through the units with its own character

The Faculty of Arts, Damanhour University, was initially established as a branch of Alexandria University in 1985 until the University became independent in 2010. The Faculty of Commerce at Damanhour University seeks to make the Faculty of Commerce in Damanhour one of the distinguished faculties in the field of education, training, scientific research and community service in the economic and commercial field at the local, regional and international levels, in a way that contributes to achieving comprehensive development.

The Faculty of Science in Damanhour was established in 2007 as one of the faculties of the Damanhour branch of Alexandria University. Then it became one of the main faculties on which Damanhour University was established by Republican Decree No. 303 of 2010 AD. It includes six main departments: Chemistry - Physics - Botany - Zoology - Mathematics - Geology. The Faculty of Science at Damanhour University seeks to be a distinguished educational and research institution that meets the requirements of academic standards. The college also strives to prepare and present educational programs according to standard standards in the field of basic sciences and its applications through which it can prepare trained scientific cadres capable of competing in the labor market, in addition to conducting renewed scientific research and studies using advanced technologies and communicating with local and international research bodies to meet the requirements of the advancement of society and serve it.

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was established in 2007 and was affiliated with Alexandria University at the time. The college seeks to become a unique innovative center in veterinary education, reference laboratory diagnosis and research activities. The college has eight departments: (animal care and livestock development - biochemistry - anatomy and embryos - physiology - tissues and cells - nutrition and clinical nutrition - veterinary drugs - pathology and parasites)

The Faculty of Kindergarten in Damanhour worked as a branch of the Faculty of Kindergarten at Alexandria University in the academic year 2008/2009. The Faculty of Kindergarten is considered one of the practical colleges affiliated to the Childhood Sector of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, and studies in it are in Arabic or English, and the student’s attendance is required to obtain a bachelor’s degree that qualifies female students to work in Riyadh, nurseries, and special education institutions, as well as in the field of gifted care. The name of the College of Kindergarten was changed to the College of Early Childhood Education in 2019. The Faculty of Kindergarten seeks within the framework of Damanhour University's orientation to reach the model of international universities through the development and modernization of its educational programs in order to reach the application of quality standards and international academic accreditation and to keep pace with the cognitive development in the field of early childhood, similar to the distinguished international universities.

The Faculty of Nursing in Damanhour branch was established in 2007 to be an educational and training edifice. To complete the educational part of the training part, a temporary building was provided for the faculty inside the “National Institute in Damanhour” so that students could train within the departments of the Institute. The college seeks to provide a continuum of distinctive educational programs to prepare qualified nursing cadres for the requirements of the labor market and contribute to the development of scientific research and meet the needs of society.

The Faculty of Pharmacy was inaugurated in Damanhour, a branch of the Faculty of Pharmacy - Alexandria University in 2008. The Faculty of Pharmacy - Damanhour University looks forward to excellence in the fields of pharmacy education, scientific research, community service and environmental development at the local, regional and global levels. The college seeks to be one of the best distinguished scientific institutions in the field of pharmacy education locally and regionally. It also seeks to activate scientific research and develop effective participation and cooperation with research institutions in the local, regional and international community.

The Ministry of Higher Education issued a decision to open a new faculty of dentistry at Damanhour University in 2013, to be included among other government dental faculties.

The Faculty of Specific Education was established at Damanhour University, located in the city of Nubaria in Al-Qarra. Ministerial No. 1679 of 2017. The college aims to graduate distinguished generations of teachers, technicians and qualitative innovators who are able to participate in the development and advancement of society as a scientific incubator and a house of expertise to teach, train and master handicrafts and professional activities in cooperation with professional centers
