Founded in 1976, Menoufia University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Shebin El-Kom (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Monufia. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Menof, Ashmon, Al Sadat City. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of Egypt, Menoufia University is a very large coeducational Egyptian higher education institution. Menoufia University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
