The foundation of the Faculty goes back to the engineering division of the Higher Technical Institute in Cairo, which was established in October 1961 and joined in 1975 to Heloun University, then to Ain Shams University in 1976, then to Zagazig University, Benha branch in the same year, then the Benha branch separates from Zagazig University in 2005 to become Faculty of Engineering at Shubra one of the colleges Banha university

In 1975 the Higher Agricultural Institute of Moshtohor was transformed into the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in Mashtoor affiliated with Helwan University, then the Faculty was annexed to the University of Zagazig, Banha Branch in 1976, which became an independent university in 2005. The College of Education in Benha was established in (1976) as one of the colleges of Zagazig University, Benha Branch, and the study began in the first division in the university administration building, then the study moved to the old College of Education building (currently Physical Education) in the year (1979) with the lease of a runway in the Muslim Youth Building in the city of Benha Then the study moved to the College Complex building in the academic year (2000) and the study continued until a special building for the college was established in the Colleges Complex in Kafr Saad and it was moved to in (2013).
